1st XI recent run of fine form came to an end at North Mymms on Sat. Chasing 197 (Steve Coleman 5-53) we could only reach 141 ao after being 104-4 at one stage (Hughsie 63).
2nd XI lost to Preston by 7 wickets. Adrian Wacey scoring 103 in our innings of 200-8.
3rds beat Newport at home with Sheldon Sellears scoring 116 and Dodders 88*.
4th XI completed the rout of Newport 2nd XI winning by 8 wickets (Clint Williams scoring 59 no after his son Hugh had taken 4-25).

Fixtures 4th July: 1st X1 are home against Stevenage in Home Counties Premier League Div 2 East. 2nd XI away to Radlet 2nd XI in Saracens Herts League Div 2, while the 3rd XI entertain Rickling Ramblers in Herts & Essex League Div 1 & 4th X1 travel to Theydon Bois in Div 5.

Outdoor nets for men continue on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm and for ladies on Thursdays, again from 6pm.

Junior Registration Forms

Registration forms for Junior cricket are now available to order from either David Reynolds on 01279 831091 or Jenny Lindop by email on jenlindop@hotmail.com

For site members the form can be found by clicking on Community then Postings on our website. Open the attachment under the heading 'Junior Registration Forms'. Complete and return to the address shown.

Registration evening is on Thurs 09.04 at 7-10pm with Registration day at 1st practice session of the year at Cricketfield Lane on Sunday 19.04 from 10am until midday.

With the Ashes this year alongside the Twenty/20 World Cup in England we expect a large uptake on the limited spaces available. We urge you to sign up ASAP in order to secure your child's place for the forthcoming season.

2008 SEES WEB SITE 'HITS' BREAK THE 27K TARGET

2008 saw BSCC's web site smash all visitor records. By the end of the year, the very ambitious 25,000 Hit Target was beaten. See below for details:
